NonStop Care is looking for a Children's Deputy Home Manager for a permanent contract with a therapeutic children's home in Islington.

The organisations has a great structure and works with a therapeutic model, combining the disciplines of residential care, education, therapy and social pedagogy to offer holistic social care service to looked after children. The agency makes a great effort to develop the most innovative approaches and work therapeutically to individually meed the needs of the children.

The home is well-established and has a solid structure in place, 1 registered manager, 2 deputies, 2 team leaders and a team of support workers.

Responsibilities

The successful children's Deputy Home Manager is someone that is experienced in residential childcare and has worked witht the registered manager previously. As part of the role you will be responsible for managing the team of support workers and work together with the Team leader to make sure social care is delivered to the highest standards.

Requirements

Please apply if:

- you have Level 3 NVQ diploma in residential childcare or equivalent

- you have at 2 years of experience working with children and young people who are at risk in a residential or community based setting
