Experienced Deputy Manager required for a newly opened nursing home in Shropshire.
Reporting into the General Manager you will support the day to day management of this beautiful nursing and residential care home and lead on all things care and quality related.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced clinical deputy who demonstrates a desire to create a centre of excellence for older people. A proven track record in a deputy manager position within a nursing home setting is essential.
Requirements:
- Recognised leaderships qualification L4 / L5 / RGN
- Experienced Deputy Manager
- A proven track record leading large staff teams in a care home setting
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- A good understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations and standards
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Home Manager and deputise in their absence
- Conduct audits against all aspects of CQC regulations.
- Take the lead in the implementation of care strategies (i.e. dementia strategy)
- Provide leadership, advice and expertise on all care / clinical issues
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of new referrals
- Supervise, coach and mentor the care team
Contract, Remuneration and benefits:
- up to 50k neg DOSE
- 100% supernumerary
- Core working hours Monday - Friday
