Deputy Letting Manager

Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Deputy Lettings Manager. This is a new position and will be critical in supporting the Lettings Manager and team to not only manage the needs of our existing tenants and landlords, but to help facilitate our objective to expand our Lettings portfolio to ensure that the university directly supports as many of our students accommodation needs throughout their time with us.

Overall purpose of the role:

As a key member of the Brookes Lettings team you will assist the Lettings Manager in the operational functioning of the head-lease housing scheme. You will be experienced in tenancy marketing, management and law, supervising a Lettings team work flow processes and professional development, housing/property management, compliance, health and safety, managing external contractors, dispute management and resolution and dealing with customers and multiple stakeholders daily.

Working hours for the post of :

This is a full-time post which is 37 hours, typically Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4.30 pm, but Oxford Brookes is supportive of flexible working, part-time working and job sharing. Qualifications and Experience for the post of:

A level or significant relevant experience

A housing or property related qualification i.e. ARLA

A minimum of 3 years experience supervising a team in a Lettings environment

Health and Safety management

Housing and/or Property management

People management, including external contractors, customer service and dispute resolution.
