We are currently seeking a Positive Behaviour Specialist join our team in South East London. As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our clients, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
Rate: £42.75/hr
Requirements (Positive Behaviour Specialist):
- Child/Adult DBS on Update Service.
- UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply)
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Psychology, Education or related feild
- 1 year experience in relevant role.
Responsibilities (Social Care):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' behavioral needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized positive behavior support plans.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff on behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and care teams to establish goals and strategies.
- Monitor and analyze behavioral data to track progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
- Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques in response to challenging behaviors.
- Provide education and support on coping skills and healthy coping mechanisms.
- Advocate for residents' needs and preferences within the supported living environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes in accordance with regulations and policies.
