The role
Herefordshire Adult Social Care is working with the local community to promote safe, healthy and independent living for all. We are focused on using all the County has to offer in terms of resources and networks of support to keep people in their own homes for as long as possible, and to promote their wellbeing and quality of life.

We are seeking a new Deputy Locality Manager to help supervise and support the team, as well as continuing to promote best practice and a strong focus on anti-oppressive working. The successful applicant will be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, and have experience of managing and supervising staff and building teams.

About You
• You will be an enthusiastic, creative, organised practitioner able to motivate teams to deliver best practice.
• You will have proven experience in managing staff, budgets and resources.
• You will have the ability to manage change, conflict and challenge.
• You will have experience of managing complex cases involving conflict and risk.
