Recently a Team Leader has progressed all the way to becoming a registered manager through the charities supportive culture and funding provided to achieve their level 5 qualification.
- The Deputy Manager will assist the Registered Manager with the running of a children's care home in order to ensure a safe and welcoming service for all users.

Key responsibilities:
- Directly managing two team leaders and a team of 30 support workers.
- Ensuring support delivered enhances independence of service users while still sheltering them from harm.
- Establish and maintain the trust and confidence of service users and families.
- Work on shift with people we support in line with Support and Risk Management plans and any protocols in place as well as in line with company policies and procedures.
- Providing training opportunities to members of the team.
- Following OFSTED/CQC practices in regards to safeguarding.
- Creating and maintaining support plans for service users.
- Being proactive in order to stay up to date with requirements.
