This role is instrumental in assisting the Governance Manager to uphold and enhance our Risk and control environment. As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include monitoring and evaluating various control systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and contributing to the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administering company risk registers and drafting related reports.
- Recording risk materializations and fraud reports, following up on remedial actions.
- Coordinating the internal audit program and audit recommendations.
- Overseeing the annual reporting process on internal controls.
- Coordinating departmental disaster recovery and business continuity plan reviews.
- Managing the delivery of Subject Access Requests, including preparing materials.
- Performing other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Strong relationship-building skills at various operational levels and with third parties.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication.
- Understanding of data protection/GDPR regulation is an advantage.
