Deputy Manager - Independent Fostering Agency

Salary up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

NonStop Care is working with an Independent Fostering Agency with an excellent reputation in the Kent area, in order to help them recruit for a Deputy Manager who can join them in a permanent basis.

They are happy to interview an experienced Supervising Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner, which means you will have the opportunity to take a step up straight away.

The Regional Manager is very friendly and experienced in developing Supervising Social Workers into Managers and for the right person, she is happy to spend time and develop you into a strong manager.

Responsibilities:

The Deputy Manager will work very closely with the Regional Fostering Manager in order to manage and grow the service in the Kent area. At the moment, there are about 40 foster families in this region. You will manage 4 Supervising Social Workers, one admin worker and one Support Worker.

The Deputy manager role has a high emphasis on driving up quality and monitoring so you will have some experience or knowledge in the managing or supervising a team of social workers. You will also have an understanding of the importance of processes, monitoring of quality of work.

The Deputy Manager will have the flexibility to do some of the work from home.

Requirements:

Please apply if:

- you are a Deputy Manager or a very experienced Supervising Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner

- you have experience in fostering, ideally within an Independent Fostering Agency (fostering experience in a local authority will also be considered)

- you have some experience in managing or supervising Social Workers

- you drive
