Job Description:
 
As the Deputy Manager of this Venue, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the establishment. Collaborating closely with the restaurant manager, you'll contribute to maintaining high standards of service, fostering a positive work environment, and optimizing overall performance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of restaurant staff.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, motivating team members to deliver exceptional service.
  2. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Ensure a superior level of customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Lead by example in providing outstanding hospitality.
  3. Operational Excellence:
    • Support the restaurant manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Implement and enforce operational policies to enhance efficiency.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue.
    • Handle cash management, financial reporting, and point-of-sale transactions.
  5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
    • Oversee inventory levels, including ordering and stock control.
    • Minimize waste and ensure effective utilization of resources.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Support ongoing training initiatives for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to the development of training programs and materials.
  7. Quality Control:
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards in food and beverage service.
    • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.
  8. Problem Resolution:
    • Address operational challenges promptly and collaboratively with the management team.
    • Contribute ideas and solutions to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or deputy management role within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures.
  • Familiarity with financial management, including cash handling and budgeting.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
