Job Summary: As Deputy Manager, you'll collaborate with the Registered Manager of our Residential Children's Home to oversee budget management, staff development, and maintain placement plans and assessments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to the home's mission
- Knowledge of children's homes regulation 2015
- knowledge of quality care standards and the SCCIF
- Provide strong leadership for personalized childcare
- Apply relevant legislation and regulations effectively
- Implement and comply with quality standards, promptly addressing improvements post-inspections
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for effective communication
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Relevant skills like First Aid training are advantageous
