Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:


Content Strategy & Planning:


  • Collaborate with the Managing Editor to develop and implement content strategies that align with Times of AI's mission and objectives.
  • Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication of high-quality content, including articles, features, interviews, and multimedia content.


Content Development & Editing:


  • Lead and manage a team of writers, editors, and contributors, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
  • Review and edit articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, coherence, and adherence to Times of AI's editorial standards.
  • Contribute to content creation by writing articles, op-eds, and other editorial pieces as needed.


Quality Assurance & Compliance:


  • Ensure all content meets the highest standards of journalistic integrity, accuracy, and ethical conduct.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and breakthroughs in the field of AI to ensure timely and relevant coverage.


Collaboration & Networking:


  • Foster relationships with industry experts, researchers, and thought leaders to facilitate guest contributions, interviews, and collaborations.
  • Work closely with the multimedia and design teams to integrate visual elements, infographics, and interactive content into editorial pieces.
  1. Audience Engagement & Growth:
  • Analyze audience metrics and feedback to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for content optimization and growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to promote content, engage with readers, and expand Times of AI's reach and influence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in editorial management, content development, and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of AI-related topics, trends, and developments.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and digital publishing tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
