Here at Field Sales Solutions, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Deputy Operations Manager!

FIXED TERM CONTRACT - End Date: 09.09.2024 (Subject to change - Maternity Cover)

We are a leading field marketing company, and we have this dynamic role within our Procter & Gamble Account.

Location: Field Sales Solutions Head Office – Thame, Oxfordshire

(Hybrid working 3-5 days per week with availability to WFH). May involve travel to P&G offices and field meetings as required

What you will be doing as our Deputy Operations Manager?

  • Assisting the Operations Manager and act as Deputy in their absence and supporting the Operations team and act as alternate on other main roles. Development of the account processes and systems to ensure they are appropriate and capable of meeting all client objectives. Work to identify and implement new and improved procedures and services in a continual review of head office support to provide increased service satisfaction levels to the client. To review current working practices / procedures and systems to recommend cost effective improvements. To oversee the provision of accurate, relevant and timely call file and cycle change management to ensure that the post call management Information is appropriate to the client and operational requirements. Provide effective communication routes between departments, field, client and operations to ensure efficient sharing & use of information. Work to implement the plans put in place to meet all agreed service standards & deadlines.  Communicating changes to ensure that a high standard quality service is always achieved. Working with peers to promote sharing of best working methods across the business and to ensure that all direct reports are kept fully informed of news and developments. To ensure the team delivers a high-quality service to Clients and Client Service on a day to day basis.

What are we looking for in our Deputy Operations Manager?

  • Experienced multi-tasker & ability to problem solve – this is key to this role’s success. Knowledge of database and reporting systems helpful. Possess a versatile working knowledge of a wide range of technology and operation practices to enable the coaching and management of all reports/tasks to meet current and future requirements. Fully proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent interpersonal skills together with a strong customer focused approach. Willing to learn new skills and to adapt to new and changing technologies and environments.  Show flexibility and adaptability when working on internal or customer related projects often with short deadlines. Well organised with ability to work individually and as part of a team sometimes under pressure. Ability to create and make presentations with confidence to field management teams and internal management teams. Possess a versatile working knowledge of a wide range of technology and operation practices to enable the coaching and management of all reports to meet current and future requirements. Educated to "A" level standard or equivalent preferable Business Degree or Diploma nice to have At least 2-5 years previous operational Field Marketing, agency or FMCG experience Experience of working with or in a service or sales environment or within a brand or customer marketing team
