As a Social Work Deputy Team Manager your professional expertise and leadership skills will ensure your team provides excellent services in line with the Care Act, other supporting Adult Social Care and Mental Health legislation and government guidance.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a complex range of key services in line with policy, best practice and professional standards. You will ensure that services are delivered within resources and are strengths based and valued by the people who receive them.
You will need:
- Significant experience as a Social Worker, and be able to complete successful staff supervision, budget and resource management.
- Be supportive to employees, with an awareness of individual strengths and limitations. Optimising and challenging these accordingly and undertaking Human Resource tasks.
- Promote strong integrated and inter-agency working across health, housing, children services, the third sector and other partnership working.
- IT skills to support accurate and timely case recording.
