The Role: As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. From teaching fundamental design principles to exploring the latest technological advancements, you will deliver dynamic lessons that encourage experimentation and innovation. Whether it's woodworking, electronics, or graphic design, you will help students develop the practical skills and knowledge they need to pursue their passions and excel in future careers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of students.
• Provide hands-on instruction and support in a variety of Design and Technology disciplines.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where creativity thrives.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance teaching practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Design and Technology concepts into cross-curricular projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Relevant degree in Design, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level.
• Strong practical skills and technical expertise in various design disciplines.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
