Design / Detailing Engineer (Construction)

About the Company: Our client is a leading firm involved in the design, manufacture, and installation of modular units. They support local authorities, developers, and architects on a range of projects, from standalone units like classrooms and pavilions to multi-unit housing developments.
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer / Detailer with proficiency in Revit to join our client’s dynamic team. This hybrid role allows for work-from-home flexibility with an average of four days per month in the office to collaborate with the team.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed design drawings using Revit.
Collaborate with the design and engineering team to develop innovative modular solutions.
Ensure designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of projects from initial design to final installation.
Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure project accuracy and quality.
Requirements
2-3 years of post-graduate experience in a design office of a modular manufacturer or a hot roll / cold form design and engineering office.
Proficiency in Revit is essential.
Alternatively Tekla / Vertex BD experience
Strong understanding of modular construction principles.
Experience of the UK construction sector
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
