Job Description:
As a Design Engineer you will play a key role in designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects. From conceptualization to completion, you will be involved in various aspects of project management, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Ideally experienced in :
· preparing drainage and Pavement Designs including S278, S38 and S104 adoption calcs and drawings
· using MicroDrainage / Causeway Flow, PDS / Civils 3D.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, etc.) to assess project feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Design and oversee the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical advice and resolve engineering issues to support project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven experience in civil engineering and project management.
- Strong proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
