SalaryA Design Engineer is required to provide designs such that utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment and facilities are compliant with legislation, standards and requirements associated with engineering design throughout the facility lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Company Assurance Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) and statutory requirements.
- Ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure application of standards is proportionate and that engineering best practice is adopted.
Key requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline
- Pressure vessel experience: vessel design, general engineering, fracture mechanics and Stress analysis.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- MathCad & Ansys or equivalent Finite Element software (desirable).

If you are successful in securing this role, please note that for the entire duration of this contract, regardless of extension you will be working this role at the equivalent PAYE rate that has been advertised.
