Job Description
- Manage and lead the Design Engineering team.
- Oversee product design projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of design objectives.
- Ensure all engineering designs and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the design process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Manage budget and resources for design projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Design Engineering Manager should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in Design Engineering within the industrial/manufacturing sector ideally metal work
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Exceptional project management skills.
