Position Overview:
They are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Estimator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to accurately estimate project costs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments to ensure the successful execution of projects and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for estimating.
- Evaluate materials, labour, and equipment requirements for each project.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed cost breakdowns.
- Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients.
- Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle as needed.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Estimator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
