Design Manager - Hospitality/Bar

Up to £45,000 + bonus + benefits

As the Design Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the visual identity of our clients brands. You will lead a talented team of designers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of design strategies across various projects. Your primary focus will be on driving creativity, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering visually stunning solutions that resonate with our multiple audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Brand Development: Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to develop and maintain a consistent and compelling visual identity across all touchpoints and brands.
• Graphic Design Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of graphic designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality design work within an agreed upon timeframe.
• Creative Strategy: Develop and execute creative design strategies for marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events to drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Visual Content Creation: Create visually stunning and cohesive materials, including but not limited to digital and print advertisements, brochures, website graphics, social media content, and email marketing campaigns.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, communications, and web development teams to align design with marketing goals, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Project Management: Oversee the design process from concept to final execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with design trends, competitor branding, and industry best practices to continually enhance the visual appeal of the brands
• Content Creation: Create animated content using design, photography and videography for multi channel use.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in graphic design and branding, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Passion for the hospitality industry and an understanding of its unique visual requirements is a plus.
• Animated content creation and editing experience.
