Our client, a prominent leader in the Highways, Transportation, and Planning (HTP) sector, is seeking a Design Manager to oversee their Planned Preventative Maintenance and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation teams. This pivotal role involves the management of approximately 15 engineers, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and execution of maintenance and mitigation strategies
- Overseeing a team of engineers and ensuring project targets and quality standards are met
- Streamlining processes and implementing best practices in project execution
- Maintaining active involvement in all phases of the project from conception through completion
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client projects
- Providing expert advice and technical direction to team members
- Formulating reports and updates for senior management regarding project status and team performance
- Ensuring compliance with industry safety and design standards
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in engineering management within the HTP sector
