They are looking for a qualified and experienced DT Teacher to join their friendly and supportive Department. You will be responsible for teaching DT across all key stages, following the national curriculum and preparing students for GCSE and A-level examinations. You will also contribute to the development of schemes of work, assessment materials and enrichment activities. You will have high expectations of yourself and your students, and you will be committed to delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love of learning.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A relevant degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification in DT
- Evidence of successful teaching experience in DT at secondary level
- Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues
