Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets, London
Salary: £150 - £200 per day
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our school in Tower Hamlets, London. This is a full-time role, with a daily pay rate ranging from £155 to £200, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PCGE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and well-equipped classroom for practical activities.
Requirements:
- Hold a QTS or PCGE, with a specialization in Design and Technology.
- Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show enthusiasm for the subject and inspire students to pursue their interests in Design and Technology.
- Possess effective classroom management skills.
- Prioritize the well-being and safeguarding of students.
