AddressWe are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Teacher of Design Technology for a large South East London comprehensive to start immediately on a permanent basis.
Both a MPS and UPS Design Technology teachers will be considered for the role but we are looking for someone with at least 1 year experience teaching Design Technology in the same school. This role is not suitable for NQTs.
For this Design Technology teaching position you will be working across the curriculum and should be a strong teacher of resistant materials and product design with the opportunity to teach up to KS5. The Design Technology department consists of a dynamic team where all staff take part in extra-curricular activities. The school would suit someone who wishes to contribute to a collaborative department and fit in with the team ethos.
The school performs well academically across all subjects and the Design Technology department benefits from state-of the-art facilities. Students are generally motivated towards learning in all age groups; the school requires a teacher with high expectation towards student behaviour to maintain the consistent systems across the school.
