Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented DT teacher to join a secondary academy in north Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from September 2024 to December 2024 initially.

The Role

Teacher of Design Technology and Art - Resistant Materials and Product Design and Art and Design

Five days a week 8.20am to 3.20pm

Experience of teaching practical technology lessons, making use of the technology department's equipment for CAD /CAM , 3D printing and carpentry equipment.

The timetable also includes Art and Design.

Positive confident behaviour management skills able to deliver safe practical lessons.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.

Unfortunately, the school are unable to accept applications from teachers without QTS as their insurance will not then cover the teacher for practical lessons.

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
