SalaryWe wish to appoint a Design Technology Technician to support Product Design, Resistant Materials and Graphic Products. The role includes preparing materials and equipment for lessons and projects including demonstration materials and resources, basic maintenance of equipment and maintaining the good order and organisation of the DT rooms and the associated storage facilities. This is a permanent contract to start as soon as possible.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm (3.30pm on Fridays) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term time only. The salary for this position is paid at NJC Points 5-6 pro rata (£23,500 - £23,893 for full-time equivalent - actual salary is £19,650 - £19,978).
An interest in Design Technology and experience of working with children is desirable. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
