A Vacancy at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic person who would like to be a part of the Keyworker Service in the Lancashire and South Cumbria area?
Do you have experience of providing intervention that is strengths-focused, evidence-based and tailored to meet the needs of the child/young person, adult and their family/carer?
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and would ideally be a family carer or will have lived experience of an autistic child/ young person/adult or those with a learning disability. For the purposes of this role,lived experienceis defined as personal knowledge about, or a direct impact of autism and neuro-diversity, learning disability that has been gained through direct, first-hand involvement. This lived experience could be gained through being a parent, carer or sibling of someone who is neuro-diverse or has a learning disability, or through working in a paid or volunteer role in contact with those who describe themselves as neuro-diverse.
You will contribute to development of the Keyworker Service and will deliver a step-down function to include developing a Peer Support group, working flexibly to facilitate personalised support for autistic children/adults and those with a learning disability.

To work alongside the Keyworker role to provide a seamless, robust and relevant network of onward support at the exit planning stage, signposting as appropriate to alternative services and ‘hand holding’ to build confidence and resilience to children, young people, adults and their parents/carers. .
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
