Desk-based Commercial Adjuster
We’re pleased to share an opportunity for an experienced property adjuster to join our Commercial Property team, dealing with claims up to £100,000 value in a desk based role, which is available on either an FTC or permanent basis.
As a desk-based Adjuster you’ll support our South London Commercial Property team after they’ve visited site and made liability decisions, by appointing appropriate contractors or other specialist services, managing all aspects of the claim to their conclusion, all of this being done within market-leading timeframes. You’ll be responsible for delivering the highest technical quality and customer satisfaction whilst achieving maximum efficiency.
Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Post visit point of contact for the customer, client, broker & other parties who may be involved in the claim
  • Claim, information & supplier project management
  • All cost control and payment recommendations
Whilst this is a desk-based role, the preferred candidate will have experience working in the field as a property loss adjuster, be an excellent communicator, self-motivated and show a disciplined approach towards our proven claim process. A confident user of technology, you’ll show a flexibility and willingness to embrace change in this emerging, fast-moving, modern claims handling environment. Above all else, you will be someone who shows a very clear passion for the customer and who has the drive and commitment to deliver absolute customer satisfaction.

Many of our colleagues work flexibly between home and the office, and we believe this role will benefit from at least some time each week with colleagues at our comfortable Redhill office.
You will:
  • Be experienced in handling commercial property claims on a cradle-to-grave basis
  • Be motivated, conscientious, self-sufficient and be able to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service ethics and a driven approach towards achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Have effective communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to write detailed reports
  • Show a willingness to embrace innovative working practices and advances in new technologies
  • Have a good grasp of BI claims
  • Be flexible and adaptable during times of surge
  • Have a positive mindset with the ability to positively influence others around you
  • Be confident and detailed with data entry requirements
