An experienced Insurance Claims Surveyor is required to join an established Claims Management Organisation providing a first-class Claims Management service to the Insurance Industry throughout the UK.
- You will join their experienced and established Surveying Team and play a vital role providing technical support for the Claims Team and help build their technical understanding.
- You will progress and finalise Building Insurance Claims, updating reserves, offering cash settlements, instructing contractors, and closing claims as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Review Surveyor reports and deliver claims decisions to Policyholders
- Check and review policyholder scope disputes and determine validity and make adjustments
- Review decline disputes.
- Validate contractors scope estimations in line with software and policy conditions.
- Progress and update Buildings Insurance Claims including reserves, cash settlement payments, contractor instructions and closing the claims.
- Provide technical support to the claims team relating to buildings damage.
- Liaise with Policyholders and Suppliers via the portal and verbally.
- Assist with audits and oversight of the Surveyor Network and Contractors with Regional Technical Surveyors and Supply Chain Managers
About you:
- Excellent Buildings Surveying experience/knowledge
- Insurance Claims experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to work well under pressure in a targeted environment
- PC literate
