Our Learning and Leadership Development organization provides world-class, award-winning learning experiences at scale to Accenture’s global audience. We serve as partners and advisors to Accenture business leaders, designing and executing innovative, impactful learning programs that help build the skills needed for today and tomorrow.  The Role You’ll Play A role in Learning and Leadership Development is an opportunity to define the strategy and drive the execution of capability development programs for our people across Accenture. For UKIA, you will partner with senior leaders and business sponsors in the Market Unit, to assess development needs and design and deliver innovative learning experiences that will help build skills needed for today and tomorrow.  At the Manager level, you will lead the UKIA Learning and Leadership development area, partner with senior level business leaders to advise and facilitate learning investment decision-making, and define approaches to learning programs in your MU. You will make this happen leveraging the existing Center Lead offerings, the team around you, as well as by working across a network of teams. Your decisions will have a major day to day impact. You’ll be expected to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UKIA Learning and Leadership Development strategy by partnering with your team, local HR and business leaders to clarify challenges, define the business problem, target audience(s) and desired outcomes. 

  • Collaborate closely with UKIA Business leads and HR Talent Functions to develop deep understanding of talent needs (supply / demand etc.), align talent management strategies with business goals, and promote a culture of Learning and Leadership Development.    

  • Define the Learning strategy for Accenture UKIA in line with the EMEA and Global L&LD Strategy, and the overall UKIA Talent Strategy and ensure execution.

  • Collaborate with global L&LD CoE to define best solution to address needs with using center-led first solution and MU’s as an exception, including vendor solution / management.

  • As needed, conduct learner research (e.g., interviews, surveys, focus groups) to better understand program outcomes

  • Collaborate with Accenture Learning Delivery Services to ensure a smooth learning delivery experience for all employees.

  • Develop and sustain reporting and measurement process, using analytics when possible, for assessing learning program value and developing skilling stories.

  • Develop communications strategies to build awareness of learning programs. Collaborate with team, peers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to maintain relationships and to continuously seek opportunities for innovation

  • Report directly to the EMEA Market Learning & Leadership Development Lead

  • Develop close working partnership with UKI Talent Strategy lead and team.

Basic qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of learning advisory experience (requirement gathering and solutioning) and client relationship management.  Critical thinking and solutioning Experience in project management and budgeting Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Knowledge of learning sciences, including durable learning • Expert in designing and architecting a wide range of learning experience solutions Experience with global teams and audiences Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and creativity   Professional Skill Requirements: Strong written communication skills – ability to articulate a design rationale with clarity and creativity.   Advanced oral communication skills - ability to facilitate client SMEs and sponsor discussions to set expectations and ensure appropriate involvement. Knowledge of learning architectures, and ability to use multiple learning modalities to strategically solve business problems. Advanced knowledge of issue identification and problem-solving methods. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client and team relationships. Navigating hierarchies and guiding executives to the most appropriate solutions. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Advanced requirement gathering and solutioning skills, with the ability to see multiple points of view and synthesize those into solutions. Creative and innovative mindset. Maintain a positive attitude in the face of difficult situations. Think strategically and demonstrate ability to drive change. Responsiveness and flexibility. Collaborative work style; willing to coach and be coached by others.
