Despatch Administrator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Despatch Administrator to join a busy team, working for a great company. Our client has some exciting projects and business growth plans for the coming years and we are keen to find somebody who is ambitious and hard working to join their great team. Areas of Responsibility

• All Goods Out which will mainly include cleaning and packaging finished machinery from Production Line to a specific procedure. This will include some mechanical fitting to finish the chamber.
• Loading of goods onto collection vehicles will also be required.
• Picking and despatching of spare parts
• Procedures are written and must be followed to the letter or this causes significant costs to put right as 95% of the equipment is exported. Very difficult to put right if its done wrong.
• Duties as required to support production such as assisting in housekeeping with such tasks as emptying of bins and sweeping up. Some general labouring may be required too.
• Assisting the General Stores Person and cover for them may also be required.
• 25kg Barrels and Bags of Salt decanting and packing for despatch.
• Position does require a physical element and manual handling.
• Fork-truck licence would be advantageous but not necessary as training can be given.

Experience

• Must be a confident communicator
• Must be physically fit
• Must have experience in a busy despatch department

Hours: 8:30- 5pm mon - Thurs 8:00 - 2:00pm Friday

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 Depending on Experience
