Brief Job Description.

We are one of the market leaders in our area for the manufacture of high integrity special fasteners for a wide range of industries. Customer service is always our number one goal, and we work in a very fast paced environment where our customers need everything yesterday! On the back of this we are expanding such a crucial area of the business to meet the demand. What our customer receives is one of the first impressions that they see of the company so it’s such an important part of the process making sure all is packed right; nothing is damaged, and counts are correct - you are the last line of visual inspection - so if it doesn’t look right you stop and raise the flag. Combined with this you will also be part of the team that deal with goods inwards making sure items we receive are in good order, logged into computer system and pass to the next area. It’s a fun environment to work in and a good team atmosphere with lots of training.

Duties And

Responsibilities

· The above-mentioned person has the main objective of supporting the business with logistical requirements via goods inwards and despatch.

· Supporting the company with the main goals of on time delivery

· Receiving goods from out processes, checking counts, visual quality and entering into computer system.

- you will be trained how to Hardness test, PMI test, help on occasions with marking product via Etching machines, Goods inwards, Despatch. Full training will be provided.

· Helping cleaning parts received by production via machine and packing to our procedures.

· Making labels for boxes on whats in them and booking out the goods via our computer system.

- organising and arranging collections with our carriers via booking in systems - training given. Booking and raising of all despatch documents correctly i.e commercial invoices, packing lists, delivery notes & shipping paperwork

· Any issues communicate to your team leader.

- Forklift trained preferred but not essential

- Able to drive preferred but not essential.

· All health and safety requirements are followed.

· All health and safety Equipment are worn in required areas.

· You may be asked to undertake reasonable overtime

· The above is your normal requirements, however you may be required from time to time to undertake duties not foreseen above

· To keep areas clean and tidy. To minimize contamination

Hours of work: 10am to 6:00pm with 30min Lunch break Monday to Thursday / 8am - 4pm with 30min Lunch break Friday - or shorter hour option 12pm-6pm with a 15min paid break or 30 min unpaid Mon-Thu and 10am - 4pm on a Friday

We do expect some flexibility due to the nature of the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
