Lawes Consulting Group is currently working with a leading insurance broker who are on the lookout for a Development Executive.
This role will include inheriting an account of existing business with a view of generating new business.
About the Role:
- Accountable for selling a range of insurance products and services to prospective clients
- To engage with potential clients via telephone, e-mail, selling a range of insurance products
- Ability to take over an existing book of business as well as follow up a large amount of prospects.
- Ability to meet sales targets and generating revenue for the brokerage.
- Identify and research potential new business opportunities
- Phone potential clients and email to pitch the brokerage’s insurance products and services and arrange meetings with them.
- Be confident to effective sales presentations and negotiations
- Manage and develop relationships with clients
- Be confident to act as clients main point of contact and ensuring their needs are met.
- Create new business by upselling and cross-selling insurance products and services to existing clients.
Role Requirements:
- Our client are open to individuals with minimum of 2 – 4 years new business experience
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Good knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance products and services.
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English
