Contract : 12 Months Maternity Cover
Paying between £45- £53 per hour Umbrella

The role is a managerial role that includes involves assisting in larger planning applications/ PPAs
Job Description Highlights
- To direct, supervise and monitor the work of a Development Management Team in order to provide an effective and efficient service, and in order to meet the Council’s statutory responsibilities, service objectives and performance standards.
- To ensure that the staff resources allocated are properly employed to advantage in order to achieve speed, efficiency, accuracy and cost effectiveness throughout the Development Management process.
- To be responsible for reports for and to attend meetings of the Council’s Development Management Committee and other meetings as necessary, in order to provide advice on Development Management and other related matters.
- To support officers and where necessary lead on the more complex Development Management matters, planning applications and related determinations, notices and orders, preparation of statements and proofs of evidence for appeals, and to represent the Council at hearings and inquiries.
