Our client a well respected Event Caterers throughout the Surrey region known for creating outstandingly elegant weddings and events. Their inventive approach to food, pushes creative boundaries for catering across Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire.
The Role
Our client are looking to recruit a Head Development Pastry Chef to be forward thinking in their approach to the stndard of pastry offered in the company.
Requirements of the Role:
- To Develop and produce standardised specifications and implement all pastry work for both wedding and corporate events in line with brand expectations
- To be Responsible for the production and quality control of the pastry department
- Responsible for ordering produce / products and managing stock levels within department
- Manage food and staffing costs for the pastry department effectively in line with budget
- Work with the Executive chef and uphold all food safety standards and health and safety requirements within the kitchen
- Set an example to team members of commitment, work ethic and good personal character
- Predominantly Monday-Friday
