About the Role

Base Location: Keadby Power Station, Lincolnshire

Salary: £45,400 - £68,200 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Keadby Power Station.

Your role will provide a comprehensive, professional Maintenance Engineering service for all station equipment, ensuring that the safety, reliability, flexibility and efficiency of the plant and equipment is maintained to meet the Companys requirements. As a key member of the Maintenance department, you will support making significant contributions to the short term station strategy.

Main tasks and responsibilities are:

- The organisation and delivery of day to day proactive and reactive maintenance of station plant and apparatus, including resource planning, budgeting and personnel / contractor management.

- To appraise, supervise, implement General / Specific safety, and set to work the maintenance technicians and contractors.

- Ensure that Safety, Health & Environmental aspects of Keadby plant operation are given equal priority to business objectives and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of SHE performance at the plant.

- Support deliver the maintenance strategy stipulated by the Engineering department and based upon risk assessment, with particular attention to equipment safety, availability, reliability, flexibility and efficiency

- During outage periods, provide all necessary support and resource to the Engineering department where applicable and available.

- Manage contractors and contracts where applicable.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering Discipline, or comparable qualification preferred, equivalent work experience will also be considered.

- Engineering and/or Maintenance experience from Power Station (CCGT) or from other comparable industries (Oil and Gas, Energy, Heavy industry).

- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, ideally including the following plant and equipment.

- Valves, Pumps, Pressure Systems (PSSR), HRSGs, Overhead Cranes (LOLER).

- Competent in the use of Maximo (or similar Asset Management Software) for work management and procurement.

- Supervisory qualities, previous people management experience would be advantageous.

- NEBOSH certification (or working towards).
