SalaryDue to growth, our client based in Saffron Walden is seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to play an important role in their continued growth and success. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about optimizing development processes, ensuring seamless deployments and automating infrastructure.
You will have sold scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby etc) and proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

What our client can offer you:
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Infrastructure as Code - Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of infrastructure.
- Administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Management of Security Processes, including but not limited to System upgrades, ISO27001, Patch Management, Anti-Virus, TLS Certificates and
- Penetration Testing.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure system reliability.
- Out-of-hours on-call - 1 in 4 weeks (will reduce as the team increases)
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Work with orchestration tools like Kubernetes for container deployment and scaling.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and release processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development and operations teams.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD tools
- Infrastructure as Code tools
- Containerization and orchestration tools
- Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.).
- Experience with AWS
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
