Die Caster

The Job People are looking for Die Casters to join a well-established Manufacturing company in Tile Hill, Coventry. Candidates will ideally have experience in Die Casting, Low Pressure Die Casting or Gravity Die Casting, but we will provide training for the right candidate. We are looking for a positive can-do attitude with drive to succeed.

Shift Hours as a Die Caster Operative: 

• Fixed AM shift
• 06.00 – 16.00; Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
• 06.00 – 15.00; Thursday
• OT available on Friday’s & Saturday’s.
• Fixed Night shift
• 18.00 – 06.00; Monday to Thursday
• Overtime available on Friday’s & Saturday’s

Opportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period.

Pay Rates for Die Caster Operative:

• £11.50 - £13.50 per hour on AM shift
• + £3.00 per hour for Nights – Earn up to £17.00 per hour on nights.
• Overtime is paid after 38 hours.
• X 1.25 up to 10 hours overtime
• X 1.5 after 11 hours overtime
• Hours can flex from time to time depending on customer order deadlines.
• Double time overtime is also offered to all colleagues on occasions.

Pay reviews / increases take place on a regular basis – dependant on your skill set.

Duties as a Die Cast Operative in Tile Hill, Coventry:

• Responsible for operating the various die casting machines in the factory following the training provided.
• You will be responsible to follow instructions to pour the molten metal into the moulds creating specific parts for their customers.
• You will also ensure that you meet strict health & safety measures set. Candidates must have a keen eye for detail and ensure that the product quality is of the highest standard.
