Job summary
This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator to develop their skills and knowledge supporting the digital systems used in Children's services. This will give you an opportunity to work across services and support teams working in different services and across West Sussex and Brighton and Hove for example, Health Visiting, School Nursing, CCHIS, Digital team, IT.
You will be based in Children's services working with our digital clinical lead to assure the clinical safety, quality, effectiveness and governance of the patient records system.
Travel across West Sussex and Brighton and Hove is required in this role.
Whilst the base is Horsham, a more suitable base at a Healthy Child Programme location could be discussed on successful application.
Main duties of the job
You will support team leads, clinicians and administrators both virtually and face to face.
You will be completing data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
You will also be required to set up meetings and take minutes when required and manage a busy inbox, triaging, allocating and completing tasks and requests as required.
You will have good communication skills, be able to prioritise your workload and approach problems with positivity and be solution focused.
You will be a confident user of digital systems, for example electronic patient records such as System 1, and other office software programmes such as Word, Excel, outlook, powerpoint and you may have some experience of creating process maps.
You will be confident working with large amounts of data and be able to manage data safely and sensitively within SCFT governance frameworks.
You will have completed a leadership development course or will be keen to complete further leadership development in this role including leadership, coaching skills, quality improvement.
