Location – Bristol (In studio, with more flexible working after probation but at least 3-4 days in office)

Relocation/Sponsorship – Relocation (no visa sponsorship)

Role Summary:

I am seeking a talented and experienced mid-weight Digital Artist to join my clients creative team based in Paintworks, Bristol. As a critical member of our creative team, you will be crucial in designing and producing interactive, immersive content for extraordinary events. In addition, you will play an integral role in creating captivating animated and filmed content that effectively meets the communication and marketing needs of a diverse globally recognized brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging visual content for live events, including animations, motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Create high quality animated videos and visuals that meet project requirements and adhere to the client brand guidelines
  • Utilize industry- standard software such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and Photoshop to bring concepts to life and enhance visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including creative directors, producers, and account management team, to ensure project deliver on time and on budget.
  • Being onsite at live events to shoots often client-facing and representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Take the creative lead on smaller projects where appropriate.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in animation, visual effects and motion graphics to continuously improve the quality of work.
  • Follow all processes and systems including time-keeping and organized project files and feedback processes.

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant industry experience as an animator, with a strong portfolio detailing 2D, 3D work ideally using Affect Effects, Cinema 4D, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in creating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for high-end corporate clients.
  • Some Experience in delivering content for live events, super wide screens, projection mapping, and immersive environments is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, composition, and colour theory.
  • We are an Unreal Engine studio so experience with this software is preferred but not mandatory, but a desire to expand your knowledge and learn new tools is essential.

Bonus Experience/Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail is a must - quality control is essential at every stage of production.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a creative team.
  • Self-awareness and ability to 'read the room' - a focused attitude to the working day. (We love to get the work done so we can have more fun).
