Digital Communication Manager

I am working with a Public Sector Organisation based in Glasgow who are looking for a Digital Communication Manager for 6 Months Initially.

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying up to £700 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of digital content plans overall with specific attention to distribution and outreach tactics and insight driven strategy.
  
  • Review and build on Communication Strategy and Delivery Plan, making recommendations for change, and set a clear direction for Rosa's Digital Communication capability.
  • Manage Content Lead and build a business case to on-board further comms resources aligned to the Communication Delivery Plan as endorsed by Senior Leadership Team
  • Overseeing our response to all content commissions (aka our digital plans) including publication strategy and content clearance.
  • Lead on digital best practice, working with colleagues across RSO to produce high quality, user centred content in response to all product development, new capability, new services, service managed projects, and major incidents.
  • Work with Cabinet Office colleagues to develop communication strategy and content that reaches senior leaders in government, maintaining and creating new contacts in this area.
  • Ensure new platform updates are tested and leveraged. Provide strategic direction across content and lead on channel/platform development and the implementation of our digital plans and evaluation
