AddressRemit Training is recruiting on behalf of our new client; who have more than 20 years’ experience as a progressive technology company specializing in telecoms, for businesses both nationally and internationally. They are dedicated to providing the most efficient, seamless support packages that work for their clients and have been looking to expand!
Our client's success is built on our excellent customer service. You can speak to a human 24/7, when you need advice and support, they will be right there at the end of the phone, in person, to help. They are actively looking for two new Apprentices to join the organization where they'll have the chance to experience what life is like working in telecoms.
- Qualification: Level 3 Digital Communications Technician
- Salary: £16 - £18k per annum
- Working hours – 37.5p/w Mon-Fri
Daily Duties & Responsibilities
- • Optimizing IT Systems, Network Comms and Performance
- • Cabling installation and fault finding; this could include Ethernet or Telephone Wiring
- • Cabling Maintenance and Testing
- • Customer meetings to identify and discuss programming & installation requirements
- • Agree installation schedule with customer
- • Programming and delivery of on-premise or hosted phone systems
- • Ability to demonstrate use of products to end users
- • Be comfortable in providing support to customers either on-site or remotely
Further in house Training on –
- • A working knowledge of on-premise phone systems
- • A working knowledge of hosted phone systems
- • Working understanding of Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks, including understanding of customer firewalls/routers
Ideal Qualities and Attributes
- Confident
- Good communication
- Passionate about the IT Sector
- Looking for someone confident who will eventually be able to head out to our clients.
- Good customer service and confidence is essential.
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent qualification)
