Digital Forensics Specialist

MCS Group is proud to partner on an incredibly exciting opportunity in finding a Digital Forensics Specialist to join an agile Cyber Security organisation that works on the front lines of the cyber warfare landscape. In his role you will be working both proactively and re actively to incidents, both recommending how your client can protect themselves and their organisation against intrusion, and digitally investigating incidents when they do occur.

• Full end to end exposure across a variety of IT estates, platforms and systems
• Pleae note - this role is not a device, and asset DFI role, it will be focused on more traditional cloud, and on prem IT infrastructure

The role

• Be the technical specialist across client engagements
• Deep dive into cyber security events to root out the attack vector
• Give expert advise on digital collation of evident, and provide insights into the techniques used
• Audit, assess, and seek out vulnerabilities across a wide variety of IT assets

Needed to succeed

• A proven ability in Digital Forensics expertise
• Have an outstanding awareness of an ever evolving threat landscape
• The ability to deliver concise, effective advise to cleints at all levels
• Fundamental understand at a deeply technical level across, network, cloud and application cyber security principles
