Digital IC Design Engineer
Being part of a highly skilled team you will be confident to prioritise long and short-term objectives through thorough planning and problem-solving skills. You will be passionate about the development of custom IC, able to support relevant verification strategy and plans. With a strong knowledge of frontend and backend IC design flow you will work onsite amongst a team of relevant peers. You must have excellent generic IC Chip Construction and design skills holding around 6 years or relevant experience. Graduates with 2 – 3 years of relevant experience may also be considered. This role can work on a hybrid basis occasionally however there is a preference to be office based due to the collaborative work required with your team members.

Duties:
- Develop digital designs for custom IC integration
- Writing IP design specifications
- Coding Verilog and System Verilog models for simulation, synthesis and static timing analysis
- Creating testbenches
- Writing automated build scripts for simulation and verification
- Build automated pre-silicon verification environments before sign off
- Support the development of embedded firmware
- Integrate and partition in house design and IP from thriud parties
- Help validate new silicon chips
- Writing suites of validation tests
Experience Required:
- Min 6 years exp (or super-hot recent grad with 2 or 3 years exp)
- Proven record in digital IC design and verification for ASIC implementation
- Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
- Must have excellent generic IC chip construction and design skills
- Strong RTL coding skills in Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Verification (python/SV/UVM) – preferable
- Physical design – preferable
- DFT & FPGA - preferable
