We currently have an exciting opportunity for 3 Digital It Apprentices to join our team.

We have the following ICT apprenticeships available:

• Apprentice (Cyber Security Technician)
• Apprentice (Information Communication Technician)
• Apprentice (Digital Support Technician)

You will be based at either Tanfield or Meadowfield Depot but may be required to work at any council workplace within County Durham.
Further information on each role can be found in the Job Description for that role attached to this advert, you will only need to complete 1 application form for all 3 roles and further discussions will take place at interview stage on the preferred apprenticeship standard.

What qualification will I gain?
Depending on your selected pathway you will study towards one of the standards below with a trusted training provider:

• Cyber Security Technician Level 3
• Digital Support Technician Level 3
• Information Communications Technician Level 3

Entry requirements
You must either have or expect to achieve 5 GCSE’s grade 9-4/A*-C in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification, together with good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Please use the ‘Person Specification’ section of your application form to demonstrate that you have the essential and where possible, desirable experience, skills, and knowledge. Candidates who do not evidence that they meet the essential qualifications and experience listed on the person specification will not be short-listed.
