Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice ecommerce and Digital Marketing assistant in our fast-growing B2B ecommerce business. The creation of this role is the result of the company's ambitious growth plans and dedication to providing an excellent online experience.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things related to e-commerce and Digital Marketing - especially social media. You will be commercially minded and work alongside the e-commerce manager across a range of projects.
Salary: £16,000 per annum.
General responsibilities:
- Working with senior management team to develop the social media strategy.
- Assist in planning and executing an effective email marketing plan with input from senior management.
- Managing and updating the company's social media channels.
- Updating and improving the company website and product pages.
- Collaborate with senior management and external agencies to improve customer experience.
- Work with senior management to create photo and video content for digital channels.
Desired skills and personal qualities:
- Commercially minded
- Proactive and creative mindset
- Good understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices
- Good understanding and experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent command of written English
- A strong desire to learn and develop skills
Beneficial, but not essential:
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience with Hootsuite
The company is based in Garstang, Lancashire between Preston and Lancaster and is in a remote location. Own transport is recommended and would be beneficial to the position.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
