Job Profile:

To provide social and Digital Marketing skills with a particular focus on paid advertising within golf, working with brands, athletes, influencers, rights holders, and media. Your role requires excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to build solid relationships and work well as part of a growing team. This role is to grow and develop paid advertising strategies for our clients and support the team with social and Digital Marketing activities.

Daily/Regular Tasks:

• Develop and manage social media advertising strategies for the purpose of promoting our services to others and growing our own social audience (Instagram and LinkedIn focussed), develop a landing page strategy for greater ad spend performance.
• Develop and manage the paid advertising campaigns for our clients.
• Support, curate and publish relevant content for the social channels for our brand clients and the players.
• Support with our 'Content Creator Programmes' in play for our brand clients.
• Manage and regularly update our social influencer and golf society CRM databases.
• Prepare the Rocket Yard weekly newsletter.
• Provide other digital related support, such as and not limited to the creation of news content for the Rocket Yard website and curation of brochures and decks.
• Prepare a weekly report / summary for the Managing Director laying out all relevant activities.

• Should positively and professionally represent the company and brand at all times, with a style which is relaxed but professional, informal yet commercial.
• Have the confidence to stand alone and work on own initiatives.
• Be a strong team player, always supporting and encouraging colleagues to create a fun, positive, results-focused mind-set.
• Have an interest in golf and be an avid sports fan.
• Understand the marketing mix and how this is used to drive sales.
• Have an enthusiasm for solving our clients' problems with creative thinking.
• Be adaptable and possess strong administrative and communication skills to work with top level professional sports people, talent, media and rights holders.
• Occasional regional and international travel required (UK driving license required).

Entry Requirements:

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
