Job description

The overarching purpose of the Moore (South) marketing team is to support the business in retaining and maximising existing clients, helping to  win new clients and managing and enhancing the Moore (South) brand online. The Digital Marketing Apprentice will play a key role in supporting the marketing team to deliver our strategic plans.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, enthusiastic and keen to develop their skills with on the job learning, alongside the apprenticeship, which will be based in our Southampton office. There may also be requirements to travel to our five other offices to work with other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team on developing and posting social media communications
  • Learn about the importance of data for the firm and assist in keeping the  data up-to-date on the business' CRM system
  • Copywriting and using social media scheduling tools to plan content into our content calendar
  • Support the marketing team in organising events and webinars
  • Support on the design of bid and tender opportunities including, proof reading and formatting text
  • Researching and writing content that is optimised for the website (SEO)
  • Take notes at local marketing and central marketing meetings
  • Support the marketing team in delivering quarterly CSR marketing campaigns across our five offices
  • Support with creating recruitment posts for job opportunities and marketing materials for careers fairs.

About the Candidate

  • Interested in and actively using a range of social media platforms including: X and LinkedIn
  • Willingness to learn about Digital Marketing and best practice
  • Grade 6 or above in English Language
  • Grade 4 or above in Maths
  • You’ll have a creative spark and be confident to suggest ideas
  • You’ll have an understanding of the marketing mix and be eager to immerse yourself in the role to develop your skills.
  • You will have a willingness to help others and a passion to learn.

Skills and Expertise

  • Strong team player with a willingness to get involved with multiple projects
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Future Prospects

On satisfactory completion of the apprenticeship we would like to make an offer of full time employment.
