Digital Marketing Assistant
+ About the role
We require a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team to help support our growth plans and overall marketing strategy. The role will require you to use your initiative, creativity and organisational skills to assist the Marketing Team with continuing to develop the group company brands.
You will have the opportunity to work proactively, with opportunities to grow and develop your skillset, however, you will have the support of a Marketing Manager and small marketing team and colleagues in other departments.
We are looking for someone with a mix of skills to assist in many areas of Digital Marketing and business development.
including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), as well as knowledge of updating websites on WordPress and optimising sites for SEO and PPC.
+ Roles and responsibilities
- Assisting with updating all group websites using WordPress
- Creating content (graphics, videos, articles) to be shared on social media
- Scheduling social media content on Hootsuite
- Updating company documents on Adobe inDesign
- Writing copy for marketing materials
- Liaising with external suppliers to gather quotes and organise the printing of marketing materials
- Liaise with clients to gather information for project case studies
- Liaise with employees internally to gather information for our quarterly group newsletter
- Administer and organise marketing documents
- Assist the Business Development Executive with following up email marketing campaigns
- Assisting with organising company events (looking for venues, helping with setting up and assisting on the day)
- Completing Supplier Set Up Forms with company information
- Gathering feedback from clients on services & events
- Occasional travel to meetings and company events
- Support across other marketing areas as required

- Ability to work under pressure and manage various projects
- A strong eye for detail across multiple platforms (physical, mobile, web)
- Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise a large workload according to ever-changing business needs
- A passion for design and a creative flair
- Ability to work across multiple projects running alongside each other
- A collaborative approach and meticulous level of detail in all endeavours
- A self-starter, able to work autonomously and on their own initiative
+ Desirable attributes (not essential)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign & Photoshop)
- Working knowledge of WordPress
- Proficient & confident in Copywriting
