Job description

Reporting to the Marketing & Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Digital Marketing initiatives achieving key business objectives for the charity’s services; Teens+ and Sleep Action. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute digital campaigns across various channels, including web, email, social media, search engines, and more. As a data-driven marketer, you will interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance.

Principal duties

Coordinate digital activities that support engagement and achieve key business objectives for Teens+ and Sleep Action.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and activities for Capella’s digital channels, including web, social media, and email that enhance lead generation, customer acquisition, and fundraising.

Optimise websites and landing pages, implementing SEO best practices, regular data-driven A/B testing, and improved analytics and retargeting.

Collaborate with the Content Marketing Coordinator to create and optimise campaign assets, including copy, graphics, and landing pages, to drive engagement, lead capture and conversions.

Monitor campaign performance metrics and KPIs, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI), and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform campaigns.

Occasional attendance at events representing Capella.

Communication

Be open, accountable and approachable to encourage a learning culture within the organisation.

Develop relationships and networks to promote the work of Capella.

Build partnerships with other organisations that furthers the development of our organisation.

Key skills, attributes and experience

· A strong understanding of Digital Marketing principles, tools, and techniques across various channels, including web, email, social media, and search engines

· The ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimise campaign performance

· Knowledge of SEO best practices, website optimisation, and A/B testing with experience improving websites and landing pages for better performance, user experience, and conversion (sales, donations, etc)

· Proven experience in planning and executing Digital Marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, paid social, and SEM, with a focus on lead generation, customer acquisition, and fundraising initiatives

· Knowledge of nonprofit sector or charity organizations and understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they face in Digital Marketing and communications.

· Familiar with content management systems (WordPress), email management platforms (Mailchimp), social media platforms (Buffer), and analytics tools (Google Analytics)

· Excellent attention to detail and highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects

· Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as working collaboratively as part of a wider team

· Passionate about using your skills and knowledge to transform the lives of those who use our services

· Flexible and open to taking on new and exciting challenges, including learning new skills if and when required
